TBI Survivors Yoga
Currently, I lead two Traumatic Brain Injury Yoga Programs:
I lead a TBI Yoga and Support Group open to any TBI Survivor and their caregiver. These sessions are completely FREE and supported by the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah. Our yoga practice is a gentle, adaptive yoga class specifically designed to relieve tension from the body, increase body awareness, and improve brain function using principles of mindfulness and neuroplasticity.
These sessions are held the first Friday of each month 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Full Circle Yoga and Therapy.
Love Your Brain Yoga
“We believe that yoga and meditation empower people to positively adapt to changes in their lives. We support people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury and their caregivers to participate in a free, research-backed, six-week yoga and meditation series designed based on the science of resilience. – LYB
LYB Yoga is a 6 week program that utilizes yoga, meditation, and breathing exercises to improve concentration, memory, and processing while building a community through group discussion with empowering TBI themes.
